It is most likely a plaster sketch of a project for the sculpted pediment of a monument. This relief depicts a main big female figure protecting and crowning some figures at the right that could represent the arts and the theatre and at the left, allegorical figures of music and literature. Since Parera’s sculptural work is so similar in style to the medal and plaque collection preserved in the Academy, this plaster can be attributed to him.
