Note: It has been attributed to Pompeo Batoni ever since the Inventari de 1821. However, Jesús Urrea suggests this work is not by Batoni and he considers it a notable Roman work of the period. Pérez Sànchez believes it could be a copy of a well-known composition dating from the late 18th century. |
