On the artistic activity of Benvenuto Tisi, so called "Il Garofalo", knows that he developed it principally in Ferrara and that possibly he was a disciple of Panetti. Prolific author, his production reflects contacts with the Venetian world, but especially she is considered to be one of the first followers of the way of Rafael, though soon he would begin to lengthen the forms coming closer the manieristas.
