Provenance: It is almost certainly the work of this subject by the student Josep Serra which was awarded with 400 reales de billón and the silver medal for Composition at the Escola de Nobles Arts de Barcelona, in the academic year 1846-1847.
Restaurations: restored by Asturiol workshop in 1978; restored by J.M. Xarriè in 1980
