Note: the idea of painting a Nativity of the Mother of God could have had the Lorenzale in 1843, when he learned by letter from Rome, Manuel Vilar (Moreno 1869, p. 124), that Overbeck had made a composition with this theme. This book is the sketch of one of the tables found in the Cathedral of Solsona. |
