Note: Don't know if the artist has presented work at one of the other editions of the contest Ynglada-Guillot. Bachelor of Fine Arts School of the Basque Country, the painter Jon Landa has developed his style in contemporary realism. His own interpretation of reality powerfully emphasizes contrasts and colors, serving stunning frames that seem to stop time for a moment, in an image which, in turn, already existed in the imagination of the artist. A realism achieved with a touch undone, where the dominance of the stain washes the accuracy of the line. Architecture, asphalt, water, landscape and portrait are the thematic blocks in which Landa himself structure his production . When he draw, its black and white compositions are so colorful, so full of light and contrasts as his painting (artist website: http://www.jonlanda.com/).|
