Interested very young in the picture, Warchol studied at the School of Graphic Arts in Katowice (Poland) and in the 90's made cartoons and humorous sketches ??for different magazines in his country. While devoting himself to painting, poster and photography, drawing remains his primary means of expression, with which often make thematic series. In fact the prize drawing, "Holzmachina IR", belongs to the series "Holzmachiny" which performed from 1984 and comprises about 50 drawings that develops construction machinery giant formed by constantly moving, reflecting the vision of a world unchecked, grim and terrible.
