| Signature: “J J[…]”(áng. inf. der.). The signature seems to have be scratched but it is possible to observe the outline and the habitual characters in the signature of J. Juncosa.
Provenance: Formed part of Josep Ma. Garrut's collection, it went on to the Academy for testamentary will of the late one.

Observations: The paintwork has the number 153 of the inventary of Garrut's collection. The paintwork was considered anonnymous by Josep Mª Garrut and Balclis attributed it to Simó Gómez; Bernat Puigdollers thinks that the signature is it of Juncosa (November, 2013). The author was born on June 21, 1848 in Vilanova i la Geltrú, and died in the same city on April 22, 1916 (Viquipèdia). |
