This mask was coming from the collection of a descendant of the painter who had delivered it to Mr. S. Torner.
The MNAC is remained by another Fortuny's funeral mask realized by the sculptor Josep Dunyach, who donated her to the Meeting museum in 1934.
According to Rafols, this sculptor was employed at the religious workshops of the Salesianos de Sarrià. |
