Inscriptions: “HENRICUS · III· D (eo) · G (ratia) · FRANCOROM · ET · NAVARAE · REX”, around the portrait. This plaster reproduces a bronze medal which is signed “ G. DUPRE” under the arm of the portrayed, and dated “1606” under the corner of the arm. Dupré is one of the best-known French artists of the seventeenth century.
